Mozart silk braces.
Mozart silk braces designed by Papilionaceous. The facings are woven by us in Dartmouth, Devon and backed with a black pure wool from Yorkshire for comfort in wear. Finished with black leather ends and nickel plated fittings.
The braces are made up by Albert Thurston in Leicester. We specify the less common “X” back for our braces as we find it sits better across the shoulders and is more comfortable than the more usual “Y” back.
A ‘non-repeating’ design, these braces feature the whole of Cherubino’s aria ‘Voi che sapete’ from Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’.
